Lions, soldiers, and boys dressed as girls

The kids participated in a Bible month program this week. They performed in skits, sang songs, and even recited scripture. The ever-detailed Peruvians didn't disappoint! What they don't have in money, they make up in creativity and resourcefulness. The costumes were outstanding!

The boys made EVERYTHING by themselves. For the helmets, they cut deflated balls and wrapped them in foil.

Oh, Abel!

Miguel is captivated by the other skits.

Heydi, the king

A Rosita sandwich- the other bread end is my roomie, Stephanie.

Another adorable lion, Oriana

I love these little men!

Even the little guys sang "Jesus Loves Me", in Spanish of course.

The staff and volunteers did their own skits, too. We did one about the 10 Commandments and acted all of them out, breaking several, and asked the kids to yell out which commandment it was. Two highlights: David being Justin Beiber and Bryson dressed as a girl.

All the volunteers here now.
